Future Travel Experience Awards 2014, crown Etihad for its inflight customer experience.

Etihad Airways of UAE has been awarded at the Future Travel Experience Awards 2014, for their quality inflight experience. The event was held in Las Vegas and was attended by senior travel executives from around the globe. The awards are provided by the Future Travel Experience global event and signify the efforts done by airlines to improve passenger experience.

Etihad Airways was honored with the Best Up in The Air Experience award, by a bench of experts, who applauded the airline for its quality hospitality, comfortable seats and inflight entertainment. It was also praised for its customer oriented inflight dining services, which consist of Cafe Service in Economy Class, Dine on Demand in Business Class, and Inflight Chefs in First Class.

Peter Baumgartner, Chief Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways talked about their effort in providing exceptional quality inflight experience, which was designed keeping the customers in mind. He said they are proud of their airline offering the best possible experience, and they take inspiration from the best hotels and restaurants.

He said the award was evidence of the successful offering and delivers a vote of confidence for The Residence by Etihad, as well as the latest First, Business and Economy Class products that will feature onboard Airbus A380 and Boeing B787 airplane.

The experts judging the airline also appreciated the offering on Etihad Airways’ Flying Nanny offer, for providing child care assistance inflight, and looked forward to the products which will first appear on Etihad’s Airbus A380 and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft in December 2014. This will include the new Business and Economy Class product and services as well as The Residence by Etihad.
