The Customs Department of Ras Al Khaimah has signed an agreement with Emirates Post Group to provide courier services to its domestic and international customers. Dr Mohammed Abdullah Al Mahrazi, Director General of the Department and Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam, Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Post Group were present at the signing ceremony in Ras Al Khaimah.

Senior officials from both organizations also took part in the ceremony. The terms of the agreement include, Emirates Post Group providing courier services for document shipments pertaining to individual customers and organizations from Ras Al Khaimah Customs headquarters to the addressees within and outside the UAE.

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Mahzari expressed confidence in the mutual strategic partnership, which aims to streamline the courier services and enhance customer service experience.

Mr. Bin Karam noted that the latest partnership is in line with ‘Happiest People’ initiative and equips EPG to provide premium services and enhance its performance. The partnership is aimed at providing better services to customers across all sectors.

Under the agreement, local deliveries will be made within two working days, depending on the location, while international deliveries will be made within global standard timeframe. Both organizations discussed ways to provide superior customer service, with assurance to continue the process of exchange of ideas and use of expertise for mutual benefit in a follow-up meeting, which will be arranged in the near future.
