Emirates NBD in an effort to improve customer service standards for its customers, introduced free local transfer of funds to any bank account in United Arab Emirates. Customers will be able to make the transfer using multiple channels: Online, Mobile and some selected ATMs.

The new service will offer flexibility and convenience to customers who wish to transfer funds for personal and business purposes. The availability of this service through multiple channels will also ensure hassle-free transactions for customers.

Suvo Sarkar, General Manager of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Emirates NBD expressed confidence in the initiative and said that NBD has always strived to offer customer centric banking solutions, since the competitive environment demands customer convenience. He also added that the new service aims to streamline the process of fund transfer as customers no longer have to handle cash or write out cheques.

Additionally, bank’s individual customers will be able to receive and send international remittances through online or mobile banking. Customers can also benefit from DirectRemit which is a 60 seconds online remittance service to India and the Philippines. mePay allows customers to transfer money though their mobile phones, and Shake n’ Save allows customers to save money on the go.

‘Emirates NBD Deals’ periodically informs customers about promotions and discounts which can be availed using the bank’s credit card.
