Emirates at Top in Annual Customer Review Study

Emirates has emerged as the best Airline in 2014, according to eDreams, which is one of the largest e-commerce travel companies in Europe.

The eDreams’ annual study is based on more than 90,000 customer reviews from all over the world. Passengers provided rating for their respective airlines on the website. The evaluation was based on various criteria including best entertainment options, baggage handling and modernity of aircraft etc.

Emirates earned the highest rating in most categories with an overall rating of 4.24 out of the top score of 5. Emirates ranked at the top in cleanliness, modernity of aircraft, best in-flight entertainment, best flight attendant service, best VIP lounges and best baggage handling.

Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates airline expressed delight in being acknowledged for the airline’s dedication and premium service. He said that the airline had the honor of serving 47 million customers in 2014. He further added that Emirates continually strives to enhance the overall customer experience through innovation. He highlighted the services currently being offered including onboard services and worldwide network of dedicated lounges on the ground.

The top rankings reflects the effort for product and service innovation. The airline is also working to integrate technology onboard for its customers’ convenience. Recently, the airline installed the WI-FI facility on its fleet of 57 A380 aircrafts. The airline plans to offer free Wi-Fi across its fleet in the near future.
